What is Redatam?
Redatam is a technology solution developed by ECLAC/CELADE to streamline the processing, analysis, and dissemination of census and survey microdata. It is specifically designed to handle hierarchical geographic structures, generating statistical information for any geographic area defined in the database — from the national level down to the city block.
Widely used across Latin America and the Caribbean, it strengthens institutions in democratizing access to information while always preserving data confidentiality.
